Kid-Friendly Easy Fall Apple or Pear Recipes {+ FREE Printable Fall Granola Recipes}

I love the fall, don’t you? What better way to celebrate the colorful change of season than with some fall fruit recipes!

Today I’m sharing some easy, healthy, and fun fall recipes to make with your Kid in the Kitchen! You can use either apples or pears to make these healthy snacks that double as scrumptious treats.

Let your picky eater or brave taster help with some basic tasks like measuring and mixing the ingredients. Even little ones can help chop the peeled apples or pears with a kid-friendly plastic knife and some supervision. What’s more, you can make this a two-part activity and use the homemade applesauce or pear sauce to make the delicious muffin recipe. Remember you can use mini muffin cups to make it even more kid-friendly. Enjoy the recipes!

6 organic apples or pears

Peel and chop the apples or pears. Mix all ingredients in a blender. Eat immediately or refrigerate for a day or two.

1 1/2 cups applesauce or pear sauce (smooth or chunky)

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Line a 12-up muffin tin with baking cups and set aside.

2. Melt butter in saucepan on stove; set aside to cool slightly.

3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and brown sugar. Stir in the applesauce or pear sauce and melted butter until the mixture is smooth.

5. Pour the fruit mixture over the flour mixture and mix just until well-combined.

6. Fill baking cups about two-thirds full with batter.

7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until light brown. Test with toothpick for doneness.

1/2 cup oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncooked)

1/2 cup diced apple or pear

1 Tablespoon granola (for topping)

Add oats to container of choice. Pour in milk and add in diced apple or pear.

Sweeten by topping with honey and cinnamon. Refrigerate overnight.

Stir and top with granola in the morning.
